Forget Soccer, For A Real Workout Play Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games

The Edmonton Journal has a good article up on the presumed health benefits of using the Wii. Greg Chin, a teacher at Archbishop Joseph MacNeil, decided to compare simulated sports activities on Wii, compared to traditional forms of exercise.

The results? Some of his students were able to achieve a sustained heart rate of 170 beats per minutes, a mere 10 beats away from their target zone of 180.
