Canadian Video Game Industry Climbs to $2.3 Billion

The Entertainment Software Association of Canada (ESAC) has released new information about the robust Canadian video game industry, which in recent years has become the third largest in the world after the U.S. and Japan. The games industry in Canada contributed more than $2.3 billion to Canada's GDP in 2012 (up from $1.7 billion in 2011), and directly employs over 16,500 people, an increase of 5% over last year.
