Diablo III's Huge Patch Optimizes Game in Advance of 'Reaper of Souls'

Let's face it: when Diablo III released on PC nearly two years ago, it was a game with great ambition, yet mired by horrendous technical issues and one really awful design choice. While the server problems were remedied within a few week after launch, the fact remained that Diablo III's loot system and Auction House both served to undermine the main reason for playing a Diablo game in the first place -- the incredible satisfaction that comes with slaying foul demons and being rewarded with ridiculously awesome loot.
