Pokémon Sword and Shield Sets a New Canadian Record

By now most of us have heard the news: Pokémon Sword and Shield had the highest-grossing launch of any Pokémon game in the US, surpassing 2 million sales in its first two days. Worldwide, that number balloons to 6 million copies sold over the game's launch weekend.

PlayStation's Black Friday Sale is Dick Wilde

Black Friday may be a week away, but PlayStation's already gone Dick Wilde on us. Ol' Dick is just $5.99 (US) in the PS Store, and is joined by over 100 other titles seeing huge discounts. The deals are pretty deep for some games, like Anthem for just $11.99 (regularly $59.99) or Fallout 76 for $19.99 (regularly $39.99). Of course, those games in particular are probably worth the discounted prices (oh snap!)

Death Stranding Review: A Hideo Kojima Masterpiece

Oh it's true, Death Stranding is a FedEx simulator. It also happens to be the best game I've played all year on any platform. So, does that mean I just have weird tastes in games? Have I long dreamed of being a parcel delivery guy? The answer, of course, is no on both accounts. Death Stranding, despite its heavy "package delivery" premise, is an immensely deep experience with complex characters, thick plot lines, and a strong, artistic message about the power of connections.
