WHAM Gaming is reporting that GTA has broken the record for launch week sales, previous held by Halo 2, by delivering 270 thousand copies to Canadian Gamers. For a grand total first week sales total just over 17 Million dollars.Since launch GTA has continued to hold top spot on XBL, toppling both Halo 3 and COD4.
