Does Bestbuy.ca know something we don't? Their website lists the supposed release date of the highly-anticipated Starcraft 2 as December 3rd, 2008. Excitement should be tempered, as many retailers have been known to invent release dates in order to secure pre-order sales when in fact even the developers have no idea when their product will be finished. Still, it's nice to believe that we'll be stomping Zerg before Christmas, but given the high chance of Wrath of the Lich King being released around the same time, it seems unlikely that we'll be doing so in 2008.
