So, Guitar Hero is dead, or at least put down for a little while so its publisher Activision can figure out how to revitalize the beleaguered franchise.

I'd be hard pressed to come up with a better reason to own a Kinect for Xbox 360 than Harmonix's killer app, Dance Central. The music video game showcases perfectly the device's motion capabilities, allowing players to bend, twist and shake their hips to some of the most popular songs from the last three decades.

Thoughts on my future with the 3DS

For those of you who know me, it comes as no surprise to hear that I have had little occasion for praise with the Wii as of late. Aside from the greatness of the virtual console titles and its use as a Super Smash Bros Brawl player, I find I've not gotten much use out of it. Don't get me wrong, there are tons of great titles for the Wii - but there's a disturbing trend that I worry might carry on to the next generation.
