Canada's largest fan fest!

At NextGen Player, we've been attending Fan Expo Canada since 2008 for all the amazing video game attractions, celebrities and family entertainment. This year is no different and we're excited to come check out Fan Expo Canada 2024 running August 22-25 from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. For all you video game fans, here's a rundown of the attractions already announced for this year's event!

Like previous years, Fan Expo Canada will also be the destination for meeting your favourite gaming voice actors. Gaming stars attending this year's event include Cameron Monaghan (Star Wars Jedi series), Neil Newbon (Baldur's Gate III), Charles Martinet (Super Mario), Jennifer Hale (Mass Effect), Roger Craig Smith (Sonic the Hedgehog), Zach Aguilar (Genshin Impact), Patricia Summersett (The Legend of Zelda) and Tara Strong (Harley Quinn). What a celebrity lineup!
Other gaming attractions to see at this year's show include the Tabletop Library where you can play free all weekend long, and the Friendiverse Lounge where you can go to chat about all things nerdy or enjoy fandom crafts like building your own lightsaber.
There will also be gaming panels spanning discussions, debates and 'how-tos', with the schedule to be announced closer to the show. Gaming cosplay meetups are also planned, so whether you're a fan of Final Fantasy, Pokémon, Elden Right or more, there's a meetup for you.

- Xbox PC Game Pass Arena: Fans will get a chance to challenge professional gamers in the XBOX PC Game Pass Arena. Inspired by an eSports Arena, the space will feature a stage for competitors to face off in PC Game Pass Games, screens to watch the action, PC rigs to practice, a claw machine to win prizes, and more.
- Games for a Good Cause: Join The Princess Margaret Quest to Conquer Cancer and presenting partner, AMD, on the Exhibitor Floor for an immersive arcade experience. Every game credit supports life-saving cancer research. Play arcade favourites like claw machines, boxing simulators, VR experiences, iRacing, and more or join the Quest Community Streamathon for a chance to win incredible prizes.
- The Bell Esports Challenge: The Bell Esports Challenge is a tournament series designed to develop the amateur Esports community by providing opportunities for players to compete at the next level. Live, in-person finals will be held at FAN EXPO Canada where competitors will be able to win $30,000 CAD in prizing. Join us at our stage in the south building!
