Continuing Gamestop.ca's / EB Games long history of Gaming Guarantees, the company have advertised in recent fliers that upcoming games Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PS3) and God of War III (PS3) will also be given the guarantee treatment.
To recap, a GG promotion means that if you pre-order the game you may return it within one week of in-store pick-up in exchange for full in-store credit. Keep in mind that pre-order is the operative word, you cannot purchase the game in-store on opening day and be eligible for the guarantee. Upon returning a GG promoted title, you will receive in-store credit on an EB Edge Card and can then use the card to purchase other in-store products.
Final Fantasy XIII has a release date of March 9th, and God of War III comes out the following week on March 16th.
These games follow a long line-up of games that have received the GG promotion, including Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, and Resident Evil 5.
And remember -- these guarantees are valid only in Canada!
